Box Office Results (5/16-5/19)

I find these results somewhat interesting. I fully anticipated that the sequel to the original Chronicles of Narnia would’ve crushed the box office this weekend. However, it turns out that isn’t the case. Rather, though there is only a 23 mil difference between the two, Ironman was right up there with Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian falling to #2 this week.
The McDreamy film, Made of Honor, jumped up a notch to #5 this week. I also find that interesting too because of all the other recent films that have been released, that tells me that some of them aren’t as GOOD as the numbers were saying they were in recent weeks. Hmmm….
Now…you know what I’m looking forward to in the coming weeks – the big screen debut of Sex and The City and the release of the latest Indiana Jones film – Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I’m a fan of both and I have a pseudo-personal tie in with the Indy film. You’ll have to stay tuned to find out what that is.

Personally I can’t wait for the new Indiana Jones movie. Sure, Harrison Ford is like 65 and really can’t run around like he used to, but I’ll sign up for any Indiana Jones movie, even if its “Indiana Jones and the Retirement Home’s Revenge!”
mbalbo, I have a feeling “Sex” is going to be good. The chemistry those four ladies have on-screen …there’s no comparison. I know I’m looking forward to seeing the flick too!

Made of Honor – is it just the typical chick flick? My husband won’t see it. He’s just picky about movies, but McDreamy is probably worth it. I can’t wait till Grey’s Anatomy comes out on DVD.
As for Prince Caspian – the book was fabulous, and while the first movie was great, I have heard this one is even better. I’m definitely going to see this one.

I can’t wait for the sex and the city movie…I have been going to detox waiting for the ladies to come back to the screen!
