Look at those numbers, will ya?  Nothing spectacular.  No major blockbusters.  The totals are just average.  What does that say about the state of the film industry?  Could the lackluster results be a matter of lackluster options out there? I’ll be anxious to see how the rest of the fall season goes considering it’s almost time to start talking Golden Globe and Oscar nominations.  If the films released between now and nomination time continue along this path, we could be in for a lackluster choice in those nominations.
