Box Office Results (1/9-1/11)
Gran Torino was a HIT! The flick directed by and starring the incomparable Clint Eastwood took the tops at the Box Office for the first time in it’s five-week run. Last week it was at #14. The nominations for Golden Globes enhanced the interest of filmgoers everywhere.
In the #2 spot, the first chick-flick released in 2009 - Bride Wars, starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. Marley & Me is still hanging in there at #4 and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button rounds out the Top 5. Button also had a couple of Golden Globe nominations this past weekend.
