THE Proposal is Coming!
I am SUPER excited about this one. Why? Well, for starters I just love Sandra Bullock, especially as a comedic actress. In a scene, her comic timing is usually point on! Looking back at her film history, I can honestly say there hasn’t been a film that I thought she bombed in. I guess you could say as far as my standards are concerned (and for the record, I don’t think they’re THAT bad either), I admire her talent overall.
The other thing that has me fired up for The Proposal – it’s a romantic comedy. We haven’t seen a REALLY GOOD one of those for a while now. The Trailer is certainly very funny. And look who’s in it too – Betty White, Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, and starring alongside Sandra, Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder) as the object of her…affection?
